pedal keys
ok everyone hopefully I'm in the right place to post this..so last night I'm at a go with my c2d. everything is hooked up as usual . but when i sit down to play . my (pedal keys) wont make any sound. the power cable was in securely and the green power light was on. i also tried 3 different midi cables and still no sound. can anyone help me figure this one out.? is there perhaps something i did in the c2d menus that shut off communication with the pedals? i have no clue.. hopefully i get it resolved before my next gig. Thanks for your help

Here are a couple possibilities; 1. You may have the Pedal "Preset" button selected. If so, and the preset values for both drawbars are "0", you'll get no sound. 2 Solutions - a) Change the preset values to whatever you need for 16' and/or 8', respectively. (Hold down Preset and modify drawbars) b) Un select the preset button. This will allow you to modify the drawbars as needed, live.
2. You may have a Program Selected that includes bass pedal values of "0". Solutions - a) Change the Program values to include drawbar settings to whatever you desire. b) (and this is the simplest) In the Program section of the top panel, Choose "Live". Bass Pedal values are whatever you set the drawbars. If none of this works, you may have a hardware issue. Good luck.
