Pedal keys 27 expression pedal
I have just bought the pedal keys 27 for my C2D. Can't find any info on which exp pedal type to use in the C2D's sound menu. The Roland ev5 preset is the default mode but I would like to know which preset is specifically intended.

Re: Pedal keys 27 expression pedal
I briefly used the default pedal that came with the PK27 and found the roland (default) setting worked best for me.
I switched to a Yamaha FC7 expression pedal. They have a way better build-quality and feel to them, and also you can adjust a few things there.
In terms of potential dynamics it´s on a different planet than the low-budget pedal that comes with the PK27.
Never thought I would be suggesting a Yamaha product to anyone after I quit working with them
I still hang on to my VL-1 synth and the FC7 pedals very strongly to be honest
Anyway.....if you can get hold of a FC7 just try it and feel/hear the difference!

Re: Pedal keys 27 expression pedal
Thanks for the comment. I'll look into that. I've experimented with all those settings. Just wondered what clavia intended. I have Yamaha expression pedals which I like. Can one be successfully mounted on the pk's bracket ?

Re: Pedal keys 27 expression pedal
Yes, they can be mounted with 2 screws. The yammie's have four screws round the center of the pedal of which one is holding a metal plate, the other three have no function at all.
Unscrew the original screws and use them after you've placed the PK's bottom plate beneath the pedal. You can use only two holes/screws, but never had problems with that.
Put your pedal to the metal !
