Re: nord c1 error
Yes Yardman,
The RD display is an indication that it wants an OS reload. Your existing OS has become corrupted. You can grab the PC or Mac version of the OS updater from the Nord website here:
[anchor= ]http://www.nordkeyboards.com/downloads/legacy/nord-c1-organ[/anchor]
Run that and you will hopefully be good.
There are two basic possibilities here. One is that a momentary fluctuation in your mains power supply has caused your Nord's brains to become temporarily scrambled. Knowing JPS, this is pretty believable. The other possibility is that there is something wrong around the flashes on the mainboard, degraded solder joints or failing chip. Running the OS updater should answer that question. If it's all good after, you can smile. If the instrument refuses the OS upload or if the same problem occurs any time soon, your Nord will need surgery.
Third possibility: duppy deh pon it.
Bless,
Pablo
