Re: New info on nord C2D
You know what really excites me?
That this new C2D may bring down the cost or the c2! I really could care less if I have drawbars! I understand why people want them now but the Hammond sound isn't what I loved it was the pipe organ!

Re: New info on nord C2D
I attempted to contact Nord about the C2D but could only make a comment via technical support which will probably go unread. I sold my C1 to buy a C2, a 3000.00 keyboard, and now Nord has once again "thrown me under the bus". Instead of giving us the option of downloading that new rotary speaker model and the other internal improvements in the C2D, they completely ignore C2 owners and come out with a new model. Unlike my electro 3 which has hundreds of downloads available at all times - as promised by Nord - the C2 is now obsolete. So, Nord doesn't care about its customers who are willing to pay 3 thousand dollars for their flagship organ. That says a lot about the company and gives me real pause about ever buying a Nord product again.

Re: New info on nord C2D
I can understand your frustration. I am not however convinced that the new C2D renders my >2 month old C2 obsolete. I have read all the posts about the new organ, watched the videos etc. While I appreciate the attraction of Drawbars and "upgrades", and was a little chagrined with the announcement of the new organ, I am personally going to reserve judgment for now. I haven't even really heard the thing!! As far as electronic technology is concerned this type of situation happens all the time. I could never afford to keep up with it all. I bought the C2 for what it would do and what it sounds like. I am having a great time with it and am not going to let anything spoil that!! Cheers Mike
