Hey,
I have the RP6 G2´s. Since I got into mixing, it was a must to have the sub because I tended to overfatten the low end.
When I switched on the woofer for the first time, I was totally shocked. The roof tiles were dancing over my head,
all things in my (little) room gave strange responses - but after levelling mixes and the sub I began to feel happy.
I have a 760 and I know how it handles the lows. BOOOOM ! Never ever without a sub anymore !!!
I don´t hear the lows but I feel them. Unfortunately my neighbor too I guess. I´m a little afraid that he could hurt me someday...
BTW: If you place your speakers directly beside the wall, there can happen some bass-reflecting issues. Better place them with some
distance to the wall and corners. There you have a more realistic frequency response.
Excuse me if you have known this before

Re: How to wire my C2D into my KRK Rokit 5 G3 powered monito
I can't prevent putting my monitors fairly close to the wall (the room is 3 x 2 meters) and I use a KRK Ergo room equalization unit to (attempt to) correct the issues the placement of the monitors (and the small room) causes. The fact the KRKs have front-ported bass reflex ports helps a bit and is a reason I selected them; rear-ported (like most monitors) would be even worse when placed close to the wall.
Anyway, my listening situation is far from ideal.
