Hammond BC vd Nord C2d

The BC has of cource the famous Hammond click.
The click is quite pronounced yet the quality of the Click is fluffy in nature.
It is mot disturbing in nature in any way.
I tried to find a setting on the C2d that came close.
I ended up with click level normal an the treble eq at max ? This was late night with low volume on the Leslie 145.
I'll try it at normal level later today.

Play it a lot, that may help. (That early model didn't have adjustable bus-bars, right?) I do think that the key-click gets louder and "fluffier" (as you say) on an unplayed Hammond, and quiets down with play. (Might be a function of the self-cleaning contacts)

By pronounced it did not mean to much.
This ols beauty has the nicest click behaviour I have ever heard.
It is just right.
I currently analysing lenght and how it behaves depening on how hard you strike the key.

You are lucky. My Hammond A-100 ('63) keyboard did not age as well, and needs a bus-bar love. Tones drop out. Oh well, they made an awful lot of them, but some lasted better than others. Enjoy it, flmc!
