Re: Half Moon Switch w/Ventilator
It works perfect, I use one myself on my C1.
Only minus are that the cable are short, but i like to keep the Vent on the left side of my C1, so I can adjust it while I play.
( Mostly the overdrive).
Otherwise, you can extend the cable with a simple male/female 1/4" stereo jack cable.

Re: Half Moon Switch w/Ventilator
Hi,
Old thread I know but I used the research function instead of just posting another one.
So, I have a C2, Updated with the C2D engine.
According to the posts/reviews, both on this forum and other websites, the Neo Ventilator 2 will be a huge improvement on the internal Sim of the C2D right?
And if I plug the Nord Half Moon Switch directly into the remote control TRS 1/4" input of the Neo Vent II, it will work perfectly, right?
But the Reverb effect will be before the Leslie right? Which seems to be a problem based on threads about the NS3 having the Reverb before the Leslie like any original Hammond but not after the Leslie like on the Stage 2....and like on the C2D anyway....
So, an ideas, comments, advices?

Re: Half Moon Switch w/Ventilator
Hello,
just received a new Ventilator II and I'm trying to use the Nord Half Moon Switch with it but it does not work as expected.
I have set the Remote Mode to Switch2 (9 o'clock position), but the behaviour is as follows:
- Switch to "Slow": Ventilator II goes into Stop-Mode
- Switch from "Slow" to "Stop": Ventilator II stays in Stop Mode
- Switch from "Stop" to "Fast" (or from "Slow" to "Fast" via "Stop"): Ventilator goes into Slow Mode
- Switch from "Fast" to "Stop": Ventilator II stays in Slow Mode
- Switch from "Stop" to "Slow" ( or from "Fast" to "Slow" via "Stop"): Ventilator goes into Stop Mode
In essence I am not able to switch into Fast mode.
The Half Moon Switch works as it should be when connected to my NS3 to control the internal Leslie, so I don't think that this is a malfunction of the Half Moon Switch.
Changing the Leslie speeds with the built-in foot switches of the Ventilator works fine as well, I therefore assume there is a no general problem with the speed modes of the Ventilator.
Is anybody here using the Half Moon Switch to control a Ventilator II and does it work, or do you experience the same? Are there any ideas how to solve this?
Thanks a lot and best regards, Georg

Re: Half Moon Switch w/Ventilator
It is possible that the Ventilator II now requires a different wiring of the Half Moon switch than the one used by Nord (?)
Have you checked the Vent manuals?
