I've been to the Clavia website and it states that there is an OS update for the C2D version 1.4 but when I go to the download page there are
no descriptions , information on what the upgrades are or indeed anything to click on .
I have found a way of getting directly to the download page through google but I'm not enthusiastic about downloading until I know what the upgrades are and whether its worth the fuss
Does anybody know ?
Regarding my previous quibbles about the inbuilt rotary sim I have swapped over to the the "122 close" rotary model and tweaked the balance of the bass rotor/horn ratio and I run the C2D via a Roland BK-7m arranger module for my backings. The BK-7m s digital effects processor, enrichens the sound of the C2D somewhat and it now sounds more like a Wersi organ rather than a Hammond which I can tolerate although I don't want to play Tico Tico and El Cumbanchero every time I do a gig
It would be great if the new 1.4 update improves the leslie sim further.

Hello,
You're right, there is no update info except the one for 1.0. You could contact Nord technical support. I'm sure they will respond quickly.

Re: C2D OS UPDATE VERSION 1.4
I just took delivery of the Nord C2D and it was shipped with firmware 1.04....so it is likely it is the first release version (first batched reaching Australia anyway)

Re: C2D OS UPDATE VERSION 1.4
Hi mate,
I'm in QLD:) Well, when I'm at home that is:)
I pretty much just unpacked the organ and love the hammond side of things.. easiest the best clone I've played. It reacts really well to playing with the key click and percussion plus have a warm overdrive in lower settings... don't like the overdrive on high settings but I getting that department sorted externally anyway... I bought it because I also need the vox and farfisa organs professionally (not a fan but hey, if someone pays me $ to sound that way.. I'll do it ha ha).. still have to get my head around those settings as I have very limited experience on the real deal... .as for the twin and jc amp sim, not a fan.. yet.. I haven't played with those in combo of the eq yet.. the leslie sim is quite good to my ears... IE, miked up leslie, which is what people would hear on albums/audience where I play anyway.. a real leslie would be for my own benefit only as the rooms I play in would require FOH anyway....
That's first impressions ...
