Watch on youtube.com
David Sanborn
Joey DeFrancesco
Gene Lake
Grab a beer and enjoy this one. Do I see Joey playing with stereo monitors and no Leslie?

Re: Any favourite organ videos on YouTube
He's playing the KeyB Duo. The Leslie sims are excellent. This is an older model, Mk1 or Mk2. I have had the newest model, the Mk111, for about a month now, and am very happy with it. I bought it as a home instrument and continue to use my C2D for gigging and keep my C1 in my home studio (it's worth more than I could probably get for it so I decided to keep it In the studio for convenience - I still love both of the Nords). I bought the KeyB as an alternative to a 'real' B3 that I wanted as a 'home' instrument. I may take it out if I decide to play the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta in July.

Re: Any favourite organ videos on YouTube
These 2 songs is why I started playing organ. But this video is really odd because of Fred Astaire´s dancing! Please watch the whole video!

she happened to play a gig close to my place the other day.
Man, she really can play
hilarious scenes from the gig: she starts playing and the organ has some problems to the bass.
After the first song, a technician comes onstage and tries to fix them.
Another song, trouble again, tech support again.
Next number, the bass goes away completely.
"The show must go on": the technician rushes onstage, takes off the back panel of the hammond, and the song flows uninterrupted with Barbara playing and the technician with half his body buried inside the organ.
After a few minutes everything was fixed, everyone on and off stage was laughing his arse off (except the poor tech, I believe), and I'm still pondering if I enjoyed more Barbara's playing, or the technician's heroics...
