Using a pedal to control the rotator speed

I recently purchased a Stage 2. I want to be able to change the rotating speaker speed withe a pedal. The pedal I am using works fine when it is used with the latch function so I think it works ok but I cannot change rotar speed with it. I would prefer to change speeds with my foot rather then pushing the little button. Any help?
