Personally I think the Farfisa is more interesting than the Vox Continental. The Vox is very much of its time - a stage organ for 60s rock bands, and while it certainly brings back nostalgic memories for me, I've found that the few times I've tried it live, I've gone back to the B3 because there was just more depth to the sound. I will have to take your advice and try some new settings.
The Farfisa was a competitor to the Vox and later got a boost during the punk/new wave of the late 70s, early 80s. Blondie and the B-52s made a lot of use it. BUT...it's still a transistor organ and as such has some built-in limitations regarding repertoire. The Hammond will fit in anywhere.
These are all regarding emulations of course - for sure I would love to have an ACTUAL Vox or Farfisa and could even get it into my Durango for a gig...unlike a B3 and a Leslie, which needs its own trailer....

Re: which one? HELP!
The Arturia Vox/Farfisa are the nicest sounding emulations to my ears.

Re: which one? HELP!
It's an band doing originals with a few obscure 60s covers, the keyboard player has older keys like a Korg Trinity and a Hammond XB2, looking to have one keyboard, that does the combo organs, Hammond, wurrly, and some pianos, sounds like the stage 2 may be the way to go

Yep, perfect.
That or the Stage 3.

5D upwards if any two need to played simultaneously, and definitely a Stage if an acoustic and an electric need to be available at the same time, or two different types of organ.

If that's *all* you need, I'd lean toward the Electro 5D over the NS2, for the drawbar controls, and what felt like a better action to me (comparing SW to SW). Cheaper, too. Though the Stage series does have a lot of other nice features (including more flexible splits/layers as has been alluded to, if you need that), and the NS3 also lets you get the drawbars and (based on comments here) probably also a better SW action than the NS2. Outside the Nord realm, sticking with boards that give you at least 73 keys, you could also look at Vox Continental, Roland VR730, Hammond SK1, Kurzweil Artis7... but I think they'd all fall short of the Nord in one place or another.

Re: which one? HELP!
If OP is still looking, the Electro 5 is coming down in price with the new 6 announced. That would be one good, and economical way to go.

Re: which one? HELP!
My requirements were about the same when I was looking for a board, and I settled on the E5D. It's been absolutely brilliant, I love it. But as the band's sound developed, I did start to pine for some more synthy capabilities, then spent a long time agonising over selling the E5D and upgrading to a Stage 3. Instead I ended up adding an A1 (it won out over a Prophet Rev2), so it's all a bit red on my rig now. Loving the A1 so far, and glad I didn't get rid of the E5, but I probably should have gone for a Stage from the start.
