I don't think the Stage has any free space, but the Nord Piano and Electro's do. That sizable free space on the right side panel (and maybe even on the left)

I know a lot of people use this space for effects boxes and other small synth toys. e.g. Korg Volca etc.

So what do you have in your empty space - and how do you use it?

At home - a mouse pad and computer mouse so I can drive the computer from playing position.
I also have a screen just above the keyboards.

Vocoder, reverb pedal, Mackie 402 mixer, multi-out 9V power supply, and still room for more toys (E5D + A1)

On the right side of the stage 2, the Waldorf Streischtfellt, it fits just Right there.

On the left side of the Stage 2, HA88 by the way, a little bit in an angled position, the TC Electronic Ditto X4 Looper...If I find a used Ocean Beach Drawbars, the drawbars will take place here instead of the Looper.

On the right side of the Lead 2X, 4 TC pedals, from right to left, Phaser, to Chorus, to delay to reverb, perfect place...

The T2, Black has replaced the HOF on the NL2X, the Hall of Fame is now on the Guitar Pedalboard

And on each side of the Nord C2, two Ocean Beach Drawbars...

Stage 3 compact. NO empty panel space. With the two, I’d keep my cellphone on there during rehearsals. No more.

On my NE5D-73, I had a Roland Boutique synth on the right and/or an iPad on a stand on the left.

I'm looking to get the NS3-73, and hadn't even thought about where my iPad would go!

Lots of room on the NP2 88. Depending on situation: Vent II, Key Largo, iPad to control the FOH mixer, etc.

I'm curious...do you mind sharing which Roland Boutique Synth you have? Do you like it? I've been looking at a VP-03.
