This is the right place if your topic concerns different Nord Keyboards, you are not sure which one is the right one for you, etc.

To do what?

You can switch patches on the nord using an app like Set List Maker (which I use) already — via Bluetooth, if you add a Bluetooth MIDI plug to your Nord.

Or are you looking for an editor? If so: Why, in G*d's name? The whole point of the Nord is that its interface is directly accessible. Putting that behind a glass screen is the last thing you'd want!

To do what?

I would have some ideas which could still make life easier with the iPad:

- Sound Manager completely usable on iPad, because I don't have my notebook in the rehearsal room
- Editor incl. good display function, you may have a look at Roland VR 09 app

I already use Setlistmaker, it's fine.

So there are still dreams to dream ...

Sunny regards from Germany.

Oh, is this a debate now? Prepare your defense?

No, it's actually a discussion.

As in: I would like to understand whether (and if so, why) you believe that a small company like Clavia (about 30 employees) should devote resources to recreating something their existing hardware already does much better?

A librarian, replicating the full Sound Manager, makes perfect sense to me.
An editor made none, until Tasten-Bert non-aggressively pointed me towards the VR-09 iPad app. And I guess, with the lack of LED-ringed continuous controllers and the relative complexity of the new A1 engine in the Stage 3, an editor does make some sense.
