Great tip, just wrote them and registered my NS2 bought in Italy and am waiting to get the t-shirt, the extension to 3 years of warranty is a great bonus, really great customer service, not sure about other distributors though.Spider wrote: ehm... that's exactly what I got from the Italian distributor, Mogar Music.
I subscribed to their website, registered the serial numbers of my Nords, and got a free warranty extension and a bonus T-Shirt.
(Very similar to your design, by the way)
I don't know if it's common practice to all Nord customers in all countries, or just a special treatment by the Italian distributor (Nord appears to be really popular in Italy, I think it's one of their biggest markets at present)
T-shirts anyone?

FITTED T shirt? Up to size 2XL? What about us fat b*st*rds? We're being discriminated against yet again!

Re: T-shirts anyone?
OK, so mine came in.
It's a medium. I'm certainly not a skinny person, but not that fat either. It's an American Apparel shirt which fits well and leaves some breathing room.

That's not a picture of an actual printed shirt. CafePress uses a generic picture of the shirt and superimposes the artwork you submit. The print is centered on mine.mjbrands wrote:the Nord logo isn't completely centered in the front of the shirt
For one-off prints like this, the price is much higher than if you create an account and submit a design for mass production. While it would get them to you at a lower price, I would also be making money from them, and that would be trademark infringement for commercial gain, which would be a lot of trouble for me if Nord decided they weren't okay with it. So, perhaps I will contact Nord to see if they are willing to work out a deal to license their trademark to me for printing the t-shirts, but for now we need to stick with this model.mjbrands wrote:Edit: strange, if I put 25 in my basket, I get a price of $24.75 per shirt. If I click on their 'show bulk prices' link, they show a much lower price. Even the price for a single one is lower.
Hope this helps.

Re: T-shirts anyone?
Here is a non-fitted version.
And the source images:
The printing on the back is $9 extra - quite a lot if you ask me. So I expect that many of you will want to forego that. If you choose to get only the front printed, the price gets a bit more reasonable.

Re: T-shirts anyone?
So, are you thinking of doing a bulk order if everyone pays up front? I see that they have frequent sales, currently 30% off. If 48 could be sold, the price would be quite reasonable. Now that I see they are doing size 3XL, I would take two or three in different colours at the cheaper price.metalfingers wrote:Here is a non-fitted version.

Re: T-shirts anyone?
I m agree with you it is cool and best shape but I don't want to infringe on Clavia's trademark.
Re: T-shirts anyone?
My other half's dad has a screen printing rig for T Shirts. He sells decent quality shirts for £7. statementgraphics on ebay.
I think that if we could get 20, he'd do a run.
Who's up for it.
It will be done properly and will be "exactly right".

Re: T-shirts anyone?
What sizes and colours can he do? If 3XL and a range of colours are available, I would take two or three, if the price was right!
Re: T-shirts anyone?
He can do whatever you like. As soon as I see him, I will ask.
He is an excellent graphic designer and will do it just right. If Nord did it themselves, they would get someone like him to do it.
I think he uses "fruit of the loom" t shirts, which are decent quality and a sensible price.
Once you have the screen, you can stick it on hoodies, tents, the lot. Being bothered to make a screen is the "can I be bothered" factor.
I'll ask him what his minimum run would be and then set about seeing who wants what colour at what size and then organising how to proceed.
