Older versions of Nord Sound Manager

Postby Macdog172 » 17 Dec 2017, 19:41

Hello everyone. I just purchased a Lead A1. Love it. My studio is running on my tried and true Power Mac G5 2.0 Been using it for over 14 years now and it still is solid as a rock. I live close to a store that services vintage Macs so all is good! Anyway I need a version of Sound Manager that will run on OS 10.4. I know that it once existed I just can't seem to find it. Anybody know where I can find it? peace...terry

Still need Nord Sound Manager that will work on my old Mac. I can use OS 10.5 as well as 10.4 if that makes a difference. Any help would really be appreciated.
Thanks...peace...terry

Did you check the CD that may have come with your key (if any)?

Warning: an older version of NSM may run on your old Mac, but it may not be recent enough to support your A1...

Version 6.40 is the earliest version that supports the A1, and it was released in March 2014 - almost eight years after the Intel transition.

You’re going to need a Mac less than a decade old.

Roger that. I do have a new PowerBook so I guess I'll use that. I just thought it would be nice to have a version on my studio computer.
Thank you for your help!

I hope it’s a MacBook Pro, not a PowerBook - you’re going to need something intel-based.

Powerbooks are intel-based. ALL Mac desktops and laptops are Intel-based.
