NS2 and sample management problems!!

Postby nordhki » 21 Sep 2017, 10:17

I am trying to create a patch with 3 samples (wav, 44.1khz 24-bit), to load into my NS2. All OS are up to date. I want them each to play from one note/key only. Since it is not possible to map them this way, it is necessary to work around the problem by mapping silent samples around the 3 actual samples. And i recall doing this with earlier. But now my "silent" samples turn up as VERY LOUD noise after the instrument has been generated and downloaded, or using a sample with a silence and a short "blip" at the end and just cutting it out in the editor with the range selection comes up with an error code "bandwidth too low". This is insanely frustrating and ridiculous, and taking up way too much time. Any help would now be greatly appreciated. I honestly can´t believe that I´m having to struggle with issues of this kind, this needs to be fixed or explained.

Just a shot in the dark... Have you tried a silent 16bit wav file?
