Nord self-contained
Currently I have a Yamaha piano and do not like the inbuilt speaker sound. Does Nord do a Piano with built in Amp and speakers? Or, maybe for the home (not stage) a stand where I can build in the kit for sound. PS I assume the headphones on the Stage 2 model actually deliver sound without the need for any other kit? many thanks.

Re: Nord self-contained
There is no nord model with built-in speakers. They do not offer such a stand, either. They target their equipment at professional users with stage requirements, which don't include speakers and amps that add bulk and weight.
Their gear is well-suited for "hobby" and home users, of course, and used by many, but that is not the usage scenario they specifically design for.
The headphone output of the Stage 2 has ample power to directly drive headphones, sure. I'm not sure what exactly you're asking in that PS.

Re: Nord self-contained
A better solution would be to get a stereo pair of small desktop computer speakers and plug them into the headphone jack. You'll need a plug adapter to connect the speaker jack into the headphone jack. But you'd get some nice stereo sound from the Nord that way –– far better than any onboard speakers in other boards. I have a pair of Altec Lansing desktop speakers connected to my computer. Pretty darn good sound for what they are and the little they cost.
