Just to add some salt to the soup, I think terming new samples as "gifts" is misleading. Part of Clavia's business plan is to regularly provide new, free sample options. That helps maintain a devoted and consistent clientele, and justify a premiere pricing structure.
When we call them "gifts" it suggests that Clavia is a) doing something just to be nice and b) has no commercial obligation to do so. I would argue that neither applies.
It also bears remarking that some of Clavia's older samples are showing their age, when compared to the newer ones. So yes, there are lots to choose from, but not all of the options remain as desirable as they once were.
Almost responded to this last night, thought better of it, looked at it again this morning and simply cannot allow this to pass without comment...

I guess some people prefer their soup salty. That stuff leads to high blood pressure and eventual stroke. Less salt in the diet is called for...
