This is the right place if your topic concerns different Nord Keyboards, you are not sure which one is the right one for you, etc.

I just bought a Nord stage II ex 88. Other than the 88 keyboard it looks like the control panel of a Boeing 707. I'm reading the manual but it is a slow go.Are there any workshops, tutorials, etc. out there to help me get this jet in the air?

Hello Bryan,
(this is my first post too) I've had my Nord Stage 2 EX over 1 month now. At the start it may seem like a Boeing. Now I'm creating patches from scratch to use in my band. What helped me is to look at the NS2EX in components, to get your head around it. Start with an empty program and first try-out the organ, then the piano, etc.
Reading the manual is really going to help.
There are a lot of videos on youtube that are worth looking at. There is one that I found very helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3dn5xFMjcw.

I can now dial in some really nice tunes. Just this week, I read the manual again, and still there are those tips/tricks in the manual that I didn't remember the first time I read the manual.

Once I have some more time, I will share my programs.

Same experience here. I own my Stage 2 for about a year now. It didn't take me long to get used to, although the panel can seem a bit frightening at first. :D
Best advice: read the manual just once for the basics and then just try everything. Try the single 'instruments' (piano, organ, synt) or tweak the factory presets. Make a layer or split or try to make a preset for a specific song. Training on the job...

Ns2 is the simplest to understand professional stage keyboard ever made.
It' s all in your hand and it is organized in sections (organ, piano, synth, fx, programing).
No menus to dig in...

Take it easy and (you ' ll definitely) enjoy the ride!
