Re: NAMM 2017 speculations
When we didn't start seeing blurry pictures 2 weeks ago, it seemed like this was a possibility.
I recently bought a Stage 2EX, so I'm selfishly happy nothing new is coming out.
. . . . but that's just me. LOL

Re: NAMM 2017 speculations
I still believe there will be a Nord Stage 3 surprise either now at NAMM or at Frankfurt in April. And here's why:
If you take a look at the Nord Stage page at Wikipedia ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nord_Stage ) you can see that the original NS was presented in 2005 and then it was replaced by the EX-version in 2008.
NS 2 was then released 2011 but the EX version didn't showed up until 2015 which breaks the pattern in which inteval they release this product-line. That means that if they release NS3 now it would only be 2 years since the latest EX and that can at first seem a little strange... But If you just ignore the EX release dates ( which is pretty much just a smal improvement of the original version) the release-interval for the Nord Stage would be as following:
Nord Stage 1 - 2005
Nord Stage 2 - 2011
Nord Stage 3 - 2017 ....which suddenly would be quite logical (6 years between each major release)
Especially taking into account that the support for the backup files for the Nord Stage 3 was included for just over six months ago when the latest version of the Nord Manager was released. Moreover, NS2 and NS2EX is still a bit outdated in terms of synth section, organ section, display, etc when compared to their other products. So even if it is not released now at NAMM, I don't think we need to wait for too long.

Why "bluff"?? Nord had made no announcement or teaser, forums guessing and speculations mean nothing...
