My two favorites are the Spider Pro and the Stay stands from Brazil. Others will have their favorites.

I have the Roland KS-G8B with the additional tier. Very sturdy and looks the part. Also very light.

After looking at alternatives I’ve always come back to the X type design and it’s all I’ve ever used for gigs and rehearsals.
Easily adjustable for standing or sitting, very sturdy, room for pedal board, setup in seconds.
Did consider the K&M Spider Pro at one point but I think you have to buy additional arms for top tier angle.
Also height and whether sitting or standing needs to be taken into consideration more with this type of stand.
Not sure I’d be keen on the surplus stand sticking up in front when using it in sitting position, especially when using one board only.
The Baby Spider would be more suitable here.

Obviously the width alters depending on height but I managed to use a 49 key Roland A-500 Pro on the top tier ok in sitting position.
A smaller keyboard may need an adapter of some kind.
Only slight downside is that it’s not as compact as others for transporting.

I have very good experiences with the two models K&M 18950 and 18880. I play in a Rock-Cover-Band and in a what we call "Schlager"-Band. I only play standing - and there is always action and movements on stage. I once had an X-type stand which doesn't stand "solid as a rock" - always wiggling a bit. The 18950 I use on large stages, it gives me plenty of space for pedals etc. Also it is very compact in the car. The 18880 on the other hand is very light-weighted - only ca. 3 kg - so I love it in cities or where there are long ways to the stage. Both stands have been adjusted and prepared by myself with additional holes for the exact measurements of my keyboards resp. their rubberfeet. The 18880 can even carry a banner or poster at the front which makes it useful on small stages. Your Minimoog is less wide than my Korg X50, but I guess that it's still wide enough for these stands.

I've been using what appears to be an identical to the setup above that Tasten-Bert is using, although my Z-stand came from Ruka which has now been bought by K&M, I think.

I've been using my Z-stand on a weekly basis for more than 20 years actually, and it is still going strong. The other stand is the one I use at home, where it is rock stable and gives plenty of room for pedals etc. It's bit heavier than the Z-stand. But both work very well for me.

Anytime I see people playing standing I wonder how they use the swell pedal on the organ, play the sustain on the Piano and the volume control as well on strings for example at the same time....I always have my two feet moving from one pedal to the other to adjust morphing, volume control or filter sweep etc and I would not be able to do it standing....

Standing is not so easy for me either; I can do a sustain while standing up (it is easier if you use the heel, as you then just flex your knee a bit). But I strongly prefer sitting also, for the reasons you mention.

Yes, I see what you're saying. I have six pedals on a board
under the stand. Volume, sustain and rotary switch for each keyboard.
Mostly I'm using right foot on Nord sustain and left on Korg
volume and I have the pedals arranged for best standing position.
The Nord volume pedal (Yamaha FC7) is plugged into the control input rather than organ swell. I'm morphing the volume on each program rather than using system volume.

For strings I tend to use the Triton but I could easily manage piano/strings with volume control on the Nord.
