Hardware version ? Manufacturing version ?

Postby ElectroStrat » 01 Feb 2018, 14:18

Hello,
I just bought a NE5D 61 and I'm wondering what the following printing near the panel means :
"HANDMADE IN SWEDEN BY CLAVIA DMI AB V5.1".
What is this V5.1 ?
Hardware version ? Manufacturing version ?
Thanks.

It should be the HW version, an info relevant for the service/assistance, not for the end user anyway.

Interesting. We have three nord keyboards at home and the all have a different version number on the back plate than on the top panel. So they build the top and the bottom as separate modules independent of each other but with a common interface? Or how should this be interpreted?

They are 2 different things, at least according to my experience and observations since owning a NS Classic.
You should have the model revision (on the top) and the HW version of that same model (back)
