Hello together
I have some questions who the web doesn't have an answer for me.. :/
First
Can I do the same on the NS2 like on The NE5.. Switchin' between 4 Samples (like 1 Chorus, 1 Verse and 1 Bridge) or how do you organise your Setlist on the NS2 cause you don't have the Setlist Manager on the NS2..
I know much musician who play One Song with diferent "Piano Sounds" like Verse Piano, Chorus Organ.. can I switch between the Piano Sounds trough a song and how can I manage so a song like in the NE5 on the NS2 where you have 4 Buttons on them you can save 4 sounds and then switch between the song.?
Sorry for my English because I'm Swiss
Thanks soooo much for your help

Re: General Questions about Nord Stage 2 & Electro 5
Hi and welcome!
I'm switching my programs using an iPad and setlistmaker.
So I don't order my programs (for a gig) using Sound Manager.

The setlist feature on the NE5 is a step above the NS2, but I've got it worked out pretty well on the NS2. I save all my sound programs by the name of the song and use numbering when I have more than one sound per song. I save them as "User" programs and then I use the Sort feature that will automatically scroll them in correct order. For example, I use 3 sounds in Burning Down the House and I named them like this:
- BurnDownHaus1
- BurnDownHaus2
- BurnDownHaus3
- BurnDownHaus1
- BurnDownHaus2
- BurnDownHaus3

quick tip, save your programs as multiples of 10, for instance:
- BurnDownHaus10
- BurnDownHaus20
- BurnDownHaus30
This way if you decide to add an additional intermediate program let's say a program betweem the first and the second you would just need to call 15 thus saving renaming a bunch of programs:
- BurnDownHaus10
- BurnDownHaus15
- BurnDownHaus20
- BurnDownHaus30
This is the logic behind movies and tv series shot numbering.

But, but... what if I want to add 11 programs in between?

Re: General Questions about Nord Stage 2 & Electro 5
New Electro5HD. When I hit the store button to store a program (even in a blank program slot), I get a message that "memory is protected" and I am not advanced forward to save the program.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Memory Protect function is set to On by default when the NE5 leaves the factory to prevent any accidental overwriting of original Programs.
You need to set it to Off when you want to store Programs of your own. You will be able to disable this in the "System" menu. Hope that helps!
