can't install nord stage 2ex Keyboard Stand

Postby ariel888 » 12 Jan 2017, 15:45

Hey guys

wanted to know if any of you had the same problem....

this is not the first time im installing the Nord stage Keyboard stand - , i have already did it with no hassle on both stages i owned before , however when attempting to unscrew the upper screws on the bottom of the Nord stage - no screw driver fitted...( i tried all sizes....both cross kind and regular....)
finally after trying more then a few times i saw the the screw it self was worn out by my attempts and it just has a hole that no Screwdriver will fit any more.....:(

i stoped trying as My stage 2ex is brand new and i don't want to ruin it...or cause any damage...

has this ever happened to any of you?

any one has an idea???

the keyboard stand isn't crucial for me....i just really like the way it looks.....but since i paid for it...id like to use it.....

Any ideas the might not ruin my stage????

Thanks :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

newer instruments use TORX type hardware -- you need the correct tool is all -- T-20 I believe, though those screws are perhaps a little beefier and take the next larger size
I don't have one and am not sure

You're going to need a bit like the one in the picture. You can find a set like mine at a hardware store or possibly a place like Radio Shack. Depending on your location in the world you may need to look for a computer supply store instead.
