I’ve just recently added the legs (Nord Stand EX) to my Stage 3. I love the support, decreased footprint and look, but I don’t like the extra weight to the case. Does anyone use a separate bag for transport? Kind of like a larger pool cue bag, I was thinking.
Thanks for the bandwidth!

Re: Bag for Nord Legs
I use the "official" red bag for my NS3, but don't have the legs. But I was under the impression that the large room on the front of the back was for storing the legs there -- don't know if that would be an option for you?

Re: Bag for Nord Legs
I have an SKB bag with storage for the legs. Just adds too much weight. I’m looking for a separate soft bag for the legs of appropriate dimensions.
Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

Re: Bag for Nord Legs
I had the legs for my Stage Classic 88. As I recall, the real weight gain is not in the legs themselves but the mounting plate that secures to the underside of the keyboard, so I don't know how much heft you'd really be saving by transporting the legs separately. The legs look cool for a keyboard which sits permanently in the studio but for gigging they're too heavy and fiddly, in my experience. Suffice to say that with my subsequent Nord Piano 1 and Stage 2, it never entered my head to buy the legs again.

I feel you might be right about the mounting plates, however, even if it only helps on the margin,I just received that case that is on the link above (rifle case). I hope that no one gets the wrong idea when I’m loading into a gig!
