If you're in the Covers/Tribute band game with a '70's uk bias, you need a Pianet. Whether it was a flawed instrument or not is not the point.
Oddly, the refurbished Pianet in the ordinary sample library doesn't really sound like the ones of memory or famous recordings. It may be the lack of dynamics, but true, the original wasn't very dynamic. Clavia can only give you the instrument as far as the jack socket, you need to work out what came next to get the sound you are after. It could have been plugged into a Vox Ac30 and mic'd up with a Reslo ribbon mike for all I know.
Anyone else lusting for a real Hohner Pianet?

So this is the sample in question?
I guess it's easy to find as long as I know where to find it

And I was worried - all the way down to the ground
When it comes to holding safety nets
Nobody seems to be around
