Hi everyone,
my problem is:
one of the keys from my Nord Stage Classic is not working anymore.
It it doesn't work in the Piano section and in the Synth section and it doesn't send MIDI, but it works with the organ.
I heard that it has to do with the velocity, the dynamics; two sensors, and the difference in time between the two sensors is the dynamic. And the organ doesn't need a dynamic command.
I opened the Nord Stage to see if there's dust or anything to see, but I couldn't see anything unusual.
Is this problem known to anyone?
Please excuse my english, it's hard to explain a problem if you not even can't explain it in you native language ...

Re: Problem with a single key ...
Not as far as I know. I have one sluggish key on my classic, but that was caused by me, not faulty construction.
The feel of the key is the same as the others? Then it's probably a sensor malfunction, as you said. Nothing to do but to get it repaired by profesionals, me thinks.

Re: Problem with a single key ...
I am experiencing the exact same problem with only one key as well (A2).
I have spoken with Tech support and they believe the only remedy is by sending to an Authorized Nord Repairer for service.
Have you found another solution yet? I am so busy with gigs that I can not afford to be with out my stage for the 2 weeks it will take to get fixed. Annoying...
Cheers
