Hey Guys,
I was thinking about getting a rectangular jack for the triple pedal.
Did anybody of you already do this? Are there some adaptor-cables or do you recommend to change the jack itself by cutting it off an putting a new one on the open end?
I feel very bad with this straight one because the piano is standing in front of a wall and I fear of pushing it to hard against it and destroying eather the socket or the cable (cablebreak e.g.).
In addition I am searching a Euro-Kleingerätekabel with a rectangular end. I am sure I have seen this once but can't remember where =(.
Thanks for your help,
Clemens

Re: Rectangular Plug for Triple-Pedal
Soldering should work with a decent e.g., Neutrik Plug if it is a must to save the space behind the board.
Power cables look a bit weird but they exist:

Re: Rectangular Plug for Triple-Pedal
Does anybody know about the pin assignment?
And if the Cable is easy to handle concerning skinning, soldering and the core-condition? Don't wanna end up with a cutted end impossible to get a jack on it

Re: Rectangular Plug for Triple-Pedal
It's better if you do an adaptor, this is, with a female an a male. Just make sure the adaptor connects tip with tip, ring with ring and shield with shield.

Re: Rectangular Plug for Triple-Pedal
Already thought of it... But perhaps I would do an adaptorcable because of the tension etc. With a lockable Stereo-female-jack so it wouldn't fall of in case of tension. But I am not sure about how long to make it... Having the connection laying on the floor or hanging in the air? About 50cm for hanging or more than 1 meter for a laying adaptionpoint?!
