NS2 SW73 Keyboard stand?

Postby keyman27 » 11 Oct 2011, 16:55

I really like the Nord "retro legs" (Nord Keyboard Stand EX). But I have a SW73, so the stand won't work. Does anyone know how I can come closer to this look? I already have one of these (On-Stage KS7150, see picture). But it's so ugly compared to the clean lines of the Nord retro legs.

Hello Keyman27,

I have a couple of possibilities depending on how crafty you want to be.... ;)
One is member Jazzfer's idea found in this thread:
nord-electro-forum-f9/accessories-question-t989.html#p4523

The other is to attach the stand ex kit to a plank of wood and make a stand out of it...

my 2 centavos worth.

Cheers, Hanon

btw,
this ham-handed photo chop is exactly why I'm not participating in the Header Graphic Design Contest:

Wow, the Jazzfer solution is nice, but too gutsy for me to try it on a $3600 instrument. The wood plank sounds like a better plan. I could use Wurlitzer threads and legs, maybe.

I'm very impressed with Jazzfer's mechanical skills "skeelz".

I took a look on e8ay and found the wurly legs for $119 and the legs flange kit for $72.
The combination of those prices puts you up to the Stand Ex price though.

Whatever you choose to do, please post back with pics.

Cheers, Hanon
