NS2 SW73 Gig Bag?

Postby keyman27 » 10 Oct 2011, 03:57

Can anyone confirm that the NE3 73 gig bag will fit the Nord Stage 2 SW73 keyboard?
Or if it doesn't fit, does Nord make one that fits?

Hello keyman27,
Welcome to the forum!
The Nord gig bag made for the NE3 73 should fit the NS2 SW73.
Here are the advertised dimensions:

Nord Stage 2 SW73: 1111 mm (44"), 102 mm (4"), 297 mm (12")

Nord Electro 3 Seventythree: 1120 mm (44.1"), 100 mm (3.9"), 300 mm (11.8")

I would contact Nord technical support to be 100% certain:

Cheers, Hanon

Thanks for the info, Hanon.

I think Nord could be clearer about this, and make it easier to buy. Their website doesn't say anything about the GB373 vs. GB73. It won't fit it the GB73, is that correct? I can only find one source in the US to buy the GB373 (8th st music).

It fits just perfect. I use the NE3 73 softbag with my NS2 Compact.

Just to clarify, you mean the Nord Electro 3 73 gigbag, correct?

Yeah we are talking about the same gigbag:)

But I can't really see why it should be called "Nord Electro 3 73 gigbag" as the bag also fits the NS classic/EX compact and the NS2 SW73 as good as it fits the Electro 73.
It was called Nord gigbag 73 where I bought it. I know the Clavia website is not particularly clear on this bag, but it fits all the mentioned keyboards equally. :)

Have fun.

+1

I have also purchased a road case from user "pocketrunks" on ebay for my NS2 and my E3. They are small, lightweight, and inexpensive. I wouldn't pack up my NS2 in it and trust it to just anyone but it does make me feel better than having it in the Nord gigbag (which is a good gigbag). And it was only $109 USD delivered.
