Nord Dust Covers

Postby Johannes » 10 Dec 2010, 23:17

Hi everyone,

just stumbled on the great french Forum "La boîte noire" on a thread about the apparently new Nord dust covers which seem to be now even shipped when buying e.g. a new NS EX (at least the 76 or 88 key weighted version). Here you can find the thread (in french): http://www.laboitenoiredumusicien.com/f ... php?t=5255
Anyone already received this when buying a Nord product more recently? Or an idea of how to get them afterwards e.g. in an online shop? Also would be nice to see for what sizes they are available.

Man that is one cool Dust Cover. I currently use a gator dust cover made for 76 keys. fits just right. Still, its probably of much less quality than Clavia´s. I wish I could easily get one.

BTW since the beginning they included a sustain pedal ;)It would be cool if they started to also include an expression pedal.

Just bought the Stage2 which included the dust cover and was able to buy the carrying case for $200 (inc shipping) on ebay.

I was searching for those covers too.
I have been asking the german onlineshop "Thomann.de" if there is any chance of getting them. Now you can find them in their onlineshop.
As far as I know they are shipping to nearly every country.
Just take a look at it searching for 'CLAVIA DUST COVER' and you'll get both, the 76 keys or the 88 keys one.

Has anyone from the UK received a dust cover with their keyboard? I bought the Nord Piano 88 last week and did not get a dust cover.

I wish we got one with the SW73 aswell :(

I would also like to keep the dust out of my board. Now I'm just using a piece of a sheet.

I also located one of these for our Stage EX 88 on the Thomann.de site but didn't buy it because I wasn't sure whether it would fit if you had the music stand attached - does anyone know please? Thanks

There is no dark side in the moon, really.
Matter of fact, it's all dark.
The only thing that makes it look light is the sun.
