Searching for a stand which car carry both my NS2 HA88 (bottom) and Roland D-10 (top). Until now I've been using the Nord EX stand for the NS2 and a separate X-stand for the D-10. The X-stand is starting to fall apart though. I play sitting down and do quite a lot of rehearsals and gigs, so I need to travel with my equipment.
Been hearing good things about K&M. It seems to me the three K&M options might have the following pro's and con's.
Any comments from actual users are much appreciated!
18810 'Omega' + 18813 stacker
https://produkte.k-m.de/en/Keyboard-sta ... mega-black
Pro: looks awesome
Con: not easy and compact to carry to rehearsals and gigs
18953 + 18952 stacker
https://produkte.k-m.de/en/Keyboard-sta ... tand-black
Pro: looks nice, folds into something compact to carry (there even is a carrying bag available)
Con: the depth seems small; does it tip over easy if the second board is relatively heavy?
18880 + 18882 stacker
https://produkte.k-m.de/en/Keyboard-sta ... tand-black
Pro: light weight
Con: doesn't look a nice as the other two IMO, not easy and compact to carry to rehearsals and gigs

Re: K&M stand for two boards
I've got the 18810 'Omega' + 18813 stacker and it is awesome. There isn't anything I wouldn't put on that stand. Super heavy duty and really well built. It is not super portable, it takes a bit of time to breakdown and setup.

Re: K&M stand for two boards
I disagree to the statement that the 18880 together with the 18882 is not easy and compact to carry. I own it since 2 years, and use it at least three times per week. I must say it easy very easy and compact to transport. The only complaint I have on those is that they rattle a lot in the trunk during car drives. I fixed that by sticking some cloth on several places...

Re: K&M stand for two boards
Thanks for your comments!
Regarding the portability of the Omega: Would you also recommend it if you need to to take it down from the third floor at home and up again (at least once a week)?
The 18953 + 18952 stacker seems to be very handy with the carrying bag and fold mechanism..

Re: K&M stand for two boards
Spider pro and baby spider were brought to the market first by K&M right? And other manufacturers proposed the same design like Ultimate stand but not with the same sturdiness...
Anyway, I needed to have a 3 tiers stand, then I bought this one with the second tier:
http://accessories.yorkville.com/stands ... uct/iks-8/
http://accessories.yorkville.com/stands ... iks-tier8/
Attached is a picture of the set up, it's big, I don't fold it down, I put directly the all 3 tiers stands in the truck or in the van when we have a gig but as all he connections are attached to the stands, it's ok. I still need one hour and half to set up the all rig with 6 keys, the all rack and the two speakers but I don't care...I'm like Cphollis when he's talking about speakers: "Go big or don't go".
I will try tomorrow to take a pictures of the back to show the stand itself but this stand is super stable, not a single move even with the strongest slide on keys, Piano or Organ....If the weight/Time to set up is not a requirement, this one was the sturdiest that I could find.

Re: K&M stand for two boards
I have the Omega and the stacker. I like it. I also have the K&M spider stand and it's okay but it doesn't work for all boards and it takes up a lot of room for the lean. And by, 'not work for all boards', I mean that you can't put a Sub 37 on the top shelf because there's nothing to prevent it from sliding off. The legs have to be somehow capable of catching the arms or you'd need to use a heavy velcro. Nord Lead 3 fits fine though.
