Gig survival kit
Hi, I thought it would be interesting to share some ideas about what is the ideal gig survival kit.
I'll start by mentioning that I always carry:
1) Some spare fuses (for the NS2, the amp and the wall socket)
2) A small screwdriver
3) A spare mains cable (I bet that despite being common, when you leave it at home nobody else has one)
4) A spare set of audio cables
5) An instrument plastic cover (I almost had a beer spilled on the NS2)
6) A set of earplugs (not sure why, I haven't had to use them)
7) A mains cable extension
8) Velcro ties
Am I missing anything?
I have been thinking on including a soldering iron.
What else do you carry?

Re: Gig survival kit
In Florida where humidity averages 95% this is seldom an issue, but a small travel size hand lotion is sometimes handy (pun intended) in colder/dryer climes. Perhaps gloves for equipment moving. A bandana/handkerchief for sweat. Parts brush or clean unused paint brush for those occasional daytime dates which reveal how dusty your instrument'sfront panel has become, good for cleaning up.
