Hi folks. Hope all is well.
I'm in a band and using my Nord Stage. At home, I've adjusted all my levels and patches so I have a constant -6db for all patches used for my songs. However, when I played my piano patch at -6db (same as my organs, clavs, synths) it was screaming loud through the monitors. I had to turn my Nord down by half just to match with the rest of the band.
Also, the soundman is giving me my own dedicated monitor mix. A dedicated EQ rack and a strip on the mixer. But I sound very plastic through the monitors. Should I zero out all levels and start from scratch?
Thoughts?
